I imagine that many of the folks who find their way to my blog are of the same ilk, and share many of the same interests, so I can only assume that many of you, like me, are missing your regular updates about life at PocketFarm.
Now, I completely respect and understand Liz’s decision to close down her blog, but I sure do miss her down-to-earth, simple tips and recipes, along with the humble wisdom that accompanied her practical advice. She’s a New Englander from away, but you’d never know it.
So when I started straining this raspberry cordial, and noticed how pretty it was in the sun, I thought I should post it here, credit the original, and thank Liz.
You can check out her Flickr page every once in a while if you’re still wondering how the barn is coming along!
(Don’t worry, Liz, I’m not a stalker, just an admirer!)

Aw shucks, ladies. I will say that it *is* nice to be missed.
Kim, thanks so much for your kind words. It’s nice to know that I can “pass” as a native New Englander.
And Stephanie, the problem was too MANY followers. I don’t know what the really popular bloggers do. I just couldn’t handle it!
Thanks, Stephanie!
Liz – The cordial smelled awesome, I can’t wait to try it (I’m going to try to hold out until Valentine’s Day). I also did a blackberry one a couple of months ago. Hats off!
