
Couldn’t resist posting photos of our local, Rock Farm ham. It was pretty darned good, although they’re still working on their smoke, so it wasn’t the BEST ham ever, but it was sure nice to look at, and it really did taste quite good, too. We glazed it with spiced maple syrup/brown sugar with some orange zest and juice.


Also, there have been lots of posts around the internet lately about the use of Peeps (some a little more violent than others, frankly!), so I thought I’d share my mother-in-law’s use in this sunflower cake.

We talked about the use of purple peeps to make a coneflower, or white chocolate chips in the middle and other colored peeps for petals. The possibilities are endless, yes!?
