Dear Laura,
I posted my final Dark Days food post already, but I just wanted to give you a big shout out for keeping Dark Days going all winter. You managed to keep this crazy bunch together through traveling for work, putting your house on the market, house hunting AND moving.
I’m not sure where you get all your energy, but the local food scene is better for it, and I can’t thank you enough for hooking me up with a whole bunch of other great folks, many of whom I’ve added to my blogroll and will continue to be regular reads.
Best of luck to you with the new place – your new chicks are looking great, and the whole flock must really be enjoying the new, not-so-urban digs. I know you’ll have a great summer with that fabulous garden you’ve already started (I’m unabashedly jealous of your snow-free landscape!).
Thanks, Laura – my winter was not quite so long because of the Dark Days Challenge. Enjoy your spring, and take back your Sunday evenings! No more round-ups!
-Kim
