Okay, so this photo didn’t really turn out the way I wanted, but I can’t resist posting these funny ducks who have taken up residence in what is actually a giant snow-melt puddle in the orchard across the street. They’ve been swimming and diving and sticking their butts up while they chew the grass off the bottom…very funny! I guess they’ll figure it out soon that their home is (hopefully) rapidly disappearing!
it got N0ISY here just two days ago, suddenly and drastically it is noisy – birds, peepers, assorted other buggie noises, daytime and night – every year, I forget that these noises are one of the first truly soul-satisfying signs of the green things to come.
I’m so excited to hear that they are making their way here. I can’t wait!
